Dr. Terri Fox is a holistic, integrative, and functional medicine doctor. She works on your behalf as a medical detective, searching for the underlying dysfunction, instead of just treating your symptoms. She has expertise in fatigue, bio-identical hormones, sleep disorders, gastro-intestinal dysfunction, and pain disorders.

Dr. Fox is a trained family physician who integrates natural healing modalities with Western medicine, providing integrative care for the whole family.  She brings a unique blend of western medicine, herbal medicine, nutrition and exercise counseling, supplements and stress reduction techniques to provide her patients with a true holistic approach to healing.

Dr. Fox begins the healing journey with her patients in a two hour intake to unearth the underlying triggers that contribute to imbalance and dis-ease.  She uses the latest cutting edge technology and lab testing to help illuminate the underlying causes.  She does an extensive work up and tailors a unique individual treatment for you to restore balance and bring you back to wellness.

With her integrative, natural approach, she treats fatigue, insomnia, gut dysfunction, hormone imbalance, Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome from mold toxicity and Lyme disease.

Dr. Fox’s Story

Originally from Virginia, Terri went to James Madison University where she completed her undergraduate degree in 1991.  She later served as the Director of Health Care and Health Education for The God’s Child Project in Antigua, Guatemala.  The project provided educational scholarships for street kids and orphans from the guerilla wars.  This is where she received her inspiration to go to medical school.

In 1996, Terri began medical school at the University of California, San Francisco where she simultaneously trained in botanical medicine.  She took a year off of medical school to pursue her love of plant medicine. She studied with several master herbalists. She practices Surya meditation, an ancient transcendental meditation that comes from the Vedic scripture.

Dr. Fox moved to Boulder in 2001 where she did her internship at St. Anthony’s Family Medicine Program in Denver.  After internship, she completed her Board Certification in Integrative and Holistic Medicine. She then trained in functional medicine and now integrates western, natural, botanical, and functional medicine in her practice at Holistica Integrative Care.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT TERRI
Dr. Fox has changed our family’s life! Two of my children have severe and life threatening allergies. We have gone to many doctors over many years, and Dr. Fox has been able to manage our family’s complicated needs. She has successfully integrated Western and Holistic medicine, taking into account our fears of only using one medical philosophy. Dr. Fox has a whole child and whole family approach. She has worked with me for hours at a time to make sure that we can follow through with her recommendations and that they fit into our daily life. Dr. Fox’s follow up with patients is truly remarkable. She is always checking in with us and I know we are in caring hands.
