Dr. Jordan Brown MSN, DNP, RN, FNP-C is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has a wide range of medical experience, from emergency room to integrative medicine to cutting edge research to family practice.  Her true love is approaching medicine from a holistic view, promoting health for mind, body and spirit for all her patients. She believes in utilizing the best tools to ensure healing, disease prevention and patient well being using Functional Medicine, Allopathic/Western medicine, or Alternative medicine practices. As such, she started integrating alternative medicine when appropriate into her patient care early in her career.

Dr. Brown is a DEA licensed prescriber and received her Doctoral degree from the University of Alabama. Prior to that, she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado. Her experiences include:

She is a certification candidate at the Institute of Functional Medicine and is currently studying and interning with experts in environmental-related diseases, including vector-borne illnesses, like Lyme disease, mold exposures, and heavy metal toxicities for incorporation into her treatment practices.

Her love for nursing and medicine began at age 9 when she read a book about Florence Nightingale. This desire stayed with her as she side-tracked as a young adult to backpack and travel, later becoming a self-professed ski bum and ski patroller in Aspen, Colorado with a certification in Wilderness medicine and interest in Orthopaedics. During that time, she simultaneously completed her Bachelor of Arts in Literature. Soon after she returned to University to pursue nursing and medicine studies. She has now been practicing for more than 11 years.
